Join artist Tansy Lee Moir on a day exploring charcoal in response to beautiful surroundings.
10:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Charcoal is such a sensitive and immediate drawing medium, but one which can feel challenging to begin with. In this morning workshop, artist Tansy Lee Moir will introduce you to a variety of ways to use it, helping you to draw with confidence.
We’ll be taking our inspiration from the beautiful walled garden in early spring. Working both outdoors and inside the Snug, you’ll be encouraged to draw freely in response to your surroundings, working quickly and loosely to make sketches of the structures, sculptures, borders and details.
No experience is necessary - you will be supported and challenged to progress from where you are.
All materials will be provided and please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dusty!
